Homeschool Water Workout Program
Homeschool Water Workout is coming in February. It will go on Wednesdays, during Home School open swim from 1-2:30. Swimmers will improve skills and get a great workout with our amazing swim instructors with thirty minutes of structured drills and games and then open swim the rest of the time.
BRONZE GROUP 1-1:30
This is for beginners. Swimmers will work on gliding, floating, stroke technique and basic water safety using noodles, beach balls and turtle shells.
SILVER GROUP 1:30-2:00
This is for the intermediate swimmers. This group will work towards swimming the length of the pool. Swimmers will improve on stroke technique and endurance with the assistance of kickboards, flippers and noodles.
GOLD GROUP 2-2:30
These are the advanced swimmers. This group will be doing swim team prep style drills to improve endurance and technique. Swimmers will be in the competition pool so must be able to swim two laps, front crawl and back stroke and tread water for a minute. Current swimmers in gold group average 400-600 yrds a practice.
Workouts will be held on February 6th, February 27th, March 6th, March 13th, March 20th.
