Group Exercise Coordinator
Michelle brings a great deal of knowledge to the Group Exercise Program with more than 10+ years of experience in both the civilian and military fitness industry as a Group Exercise Instructor, Personal Trainer, Mind-Body Specialist, Fitness Business Owner, Mission Nutrition Trainer and Command Fitness Leader Instructor Trainer with the US Navy. She has been with the Rouse Center since January 2017 as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, and despite her extensive list of varied fitness certifications, she declares that her heartbeat IS, and always has been, Group Exercise!
Originally from DC, raised in Texas and educated in both Virginia and Singapore, (BS Virginia Tech and MA National University of Singapore), Michelle is an AVID Houston Rockets fan. When not closely following basketball, she enjoys serving the community through her church and spending time with family. She, and her husband, Dan (USN Retired), have three AMAZING children, one stray cat that decided to keep them and one highly intelligent, slightly irritating and mostly adorable Shetland Sheepdog that is genetically wired to be somewhere in Scotland herding sheep as evidenced by her perpetual need to herd the entire Bryan family. The dog is, of course, not in Scotland, but here in Stafford VA, where the family also currently resides after having moved all around the world with the Navy every two years or so for the last twenty years. Never a dull moment, to be sure!
