Our one-on-one training allows you to get the full attention and customization within your workouts you need to maximize your potential. Our certified personal trainers will structure workouts specific to your goals, fitness level and limitations.  At JRSSC, we also provide some direction outside of our workouts and advice on nutrition and healthy living.   If you are new to the gym, been away for a while or just looking to take it up a notch personal training is a great way to ensure you have the correct form and intensity level to maximize your results safe and effectively.


Want to do personal training with a buddy?  Tandem training is the way to go.  Training with a partner is a great way to hold you more accountable and add a little camaraderie.  With 1-on-2 training you are also receiving much of the personal attention and customization you would receive in personal training.


Small group training (3-7 people) is a great way for a group to strive towards a common goal within a team setting.  This type of training allows personal trainers to give some attention to each client to ensure proper technique and progression all while in a group exercise atmosphere.  You can choose to either have your own group with similar goals or you can to jump into one of our pre-created JRSSC classes that we hold in the functional training zone (located on the pool deck).


​At JRSSC, we provide team training specific to the demands of the sport to both maximize your sports performance and prevent potential injuries. Whether it is the off-season, pre-season or mid-season we will both train and teach the athletes proper progression, technique and exercises needed for their sport.  Our certified trainers have experience training variety of teams at varying age groups whether its baseball, soccer, swimming, lacrosse and more.

About me:

I received my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at George Mason University. I am currently enrolled in a master’s program called Exercise Fitness and Health Promotion. Growing up I played mainly football and basketball, but I love sports in general and I am always open to learning new things. Staying active and in shape after finishing high school is what got me in to the exercise and wellness field.
I am open to working with all populations, regardless of age and athletic background. I enjoy helping people improve their overall fitness. My goal is to keep clients focused on their short and long-term goals in a fun and productive manner.

Physical fitness has been part of my life for over 40 years. As a Marine, I was a physical training instructor where I developed and implemented training programs all around the world. In later life, I have found that keeping in top physical condition staves off the negative effects of aging, enabling one to remain vital and active. I would like to share my experience with you and help my fellow “experienced” adults to remain vital and active during the best years of your life.

About me                                                                                                                 

I am a lifelong dancer, and although I currently focus on social dances like Swing, Salsa and Cha-Cha, I have extensive training in Jazz and Ballet, too. In college, I had to take one PE credit to graduate, and the one that fit in my schedule was weight training. That one-semester class had a huge impact on my fitness, life philosophy, and career path. Around that same time, I discovered Yoga, and I have been maintaining a consistent Yoga practice for more than 20 years. Yoga has helped me overcome physical injuries and find inner calm in a chaotic world.

Since those days, I have raised three children. I have experienced tremendous shifts in my own body over time. I have struggled through various kinds of activity-related injuries and recoveries. I have learned from these journeys, and today, I am passionate about coaching people who are either new to fitness, or who have been away for a while. I love helping people find the right combination of strength and stretch that makes that tricky back, knee, or hip move happily. I also enjoy helping people use exercise to balance mood and reduce stress. And of course, I am passionate about working with anyone who wants to be able to move better so they can enjoy all the great moments life has to offer!

About Me

Fitness has been my passion ever since my days as a young competitive swimmer and had reignited once I began working with the JRSSC when it opened its doors in May 2016! As a personal trainer, one of the things I enjoy most is working with people just getting back into an exercise program. Many step away from fitness and fear returning because they are unsure of an injury or unsure of where to start. I am here to help make a difficult transition a fun one, by guiding you through a safe and effective exercise program that will minimize setbacks and change your life for the better!
