Rouse Center Covid-19 FAQs

UPDATE 5/8/20

Rouse Center Members,

After receiving further clarification from Governor Northam today during his press conference, the Rouse Center will remain closed until further notice. Phase 1 of the reopening plan does not allow indoor fitness. We will continue to put digital fitness content on our website and social media pages so please follow us! When the Governor announces a reopening date for fitness centers, we will send another update. Have a great weekend and until we get to see everyone again, stay safe!

Thank you,

Brian Cann
General Manager

*** Please note, due to our team working remotely, we ask that you do not call the center, rather email us at
info@rousecenter.com, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. ***

Will I be billed for my membership during the closure?
All billing has been frozen so no one is charged during the closure. When government officials provide us a reopening date, we will provide more information on membership and billing. Due to the mass freeze of accounts, we are unable to process individual membership freezes or cancel requests. Please contact the center upon re-opening for assistance with your membership.

Will I be refunded for my March membership?
No memberships will be refunded for March. Once we are provided a reopening date, members will be able to use the facility for a period of time before we run the first membership draft to compensate members for lost time during March.

What will happen to my personal training sessions or private swim lessons?
If you have unused sessions, the expiration date will be extended by the period of time the facility is closed.

What will happen if my child is registered for a program?
Upon reopening, we will do our best to resume programs normally. Depending on the length of the closure, if we are unable to do so, we will provide credit to members’ accounts for use on future programs or membership.

Can I get a refund?
We are not able to provide refunds at this time. We understand this is a financially difficult time for many, and we are trying our best to sustain our business so that we are able to fully reopen when government officials provide us a reopening date.

How can I still workout at home?
Be sure to follow us on Facebook as well as join our Fitness page, Rouse Center Fitness Group to keep you motivated during the closure.
