lifeguarding

Are you interested in becoming a lifeguard or do you need to re-certify so your certificate remains valid? Are you a certified lifeguard who would like to pass your knowledge onto others? If so, check out our classes!

The first step to becoming a lifeguard is to register and pass the pre-test. This is a requirement for all candidates seeking certification and for those re-certifying.

After passing the pre-test, you may register for the lifeguarding class associated with the pre-test, which is described below.  (Please DO NOT sign up for a pretest if you are unable to attend that month’s class). The maximum number of participants in a class is 10; our classes typically fill up quickly, so we encourage you to register early! You can register online or at the Front Desk.
