PERSONAL TRAINING

Our one-on-one training allows you to get the full attention and customization within the workouts you need to maximize your potential. Our certified personal trainers will structure workouts specific to your goals, fitness level, and limitations. At JRSSC, we also provide some direction outside of our workouts and advice on nutrition and healthy living. If you are new to the gym, have been away for a while, or you are just looking to take it up a notch personal training is a great way to ensure you have the correct form and intensity level to maximize your results safe and effectively.

TANDEM TRAINING

Want to do personal training with a buddy? Tandem training is the way to go. Training with a partner is a great way to hold you more accountable and add a little camaraderie. With 1-on-2 training you are also receiving much of the personal attention and customization you would receive in personal training.

SMALL GROUP TRAINING

Small group training (3-7 people) is a great way for a group to strive towards a common goal within a team setting. This type of training allows personal trainers to give some attention to each client to ensure proper technique and progression all while in a group exercise atmosphere. You can choose to either have your own group with similar goals or you can jump into one of our pre-created JRSSC classes that we hold in the functional training zone (located on the pool deck).

TEAM STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

​At JRSSC, we provide team training specific to the demands of the sport to both maximize your sports performance and prevent potential injuries. Whether it is the off-season, pre-season or mid-season we will both train and teach the athletes proper progression, technique, and exercises needed for their sport.  Our certified trainers have experience training a variety of teams at varying age groups whether it’s baseball, soccer, swimming, lacrosse, and more.

CARRIE MURRAY

Fitness has been a lifelong avocation for me. I have been a swim coach, a college wellness professor, a group exercise instructor, and a personal trainer.  My Marine and I have been across the globe with our four daughters in tow. I’ve had the opportunity to help many different people and am thrilled to see how great clients feel when they arrive at their fitness milestones.

When we train together, I will encourage you to build confidence while safely challenging you to maximize your fitness potential and reach your goals. PAM MOLNAR

Fitness has been my passion ever since my days as a young competitive swimmer and had reignited once I began working with the JRSSC when it opened its doors in May 2016! As a personal trainer, one of the things I enjoy most is working with people just getting back into an exercise program. Many step away from fitness and fear returning because they are unsure of an injury or unsure of where to start. I am here to help make a difficult transition a fun one, by guiding you through a safe and effective exercise program that will minimize setbacks and change your life for the better!

RON JOHNSON

I received my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at George Mason University. I am currently enrolled in a master’s program called Exercise Fitness and Health Promotion. Growing up I played mainly football and basketball, but I love sports in general and I am always open to learning new things. Staying active and in shape after finishing high school is what got me into the exercise and wellness field.

I am open to working with all populations, regardless of age and athletic background. I enjoy helping people improve their overall fitness. My goal is to keep clients focused on their short and long-term goals in a fun and productive manner.

I have loved fitness and gym culture for almost my entire life. I have always enjoyed being active and believe it is the foundation of a balanced and full life. I have 10 years of experience in coaching youth wrestling, football, soccer and track & field. I have 20 years of experience weight training, as well as, cardio exercises. I believe that challenging oneself physically and mentally is extremely important, and I also believe that making it fun and enjoyable is the key to prolonged and sustainable success!

I am a father of five and avid obstacle race competitor.

COURTNEY MUNOZ

Growing up, sitting still was not an option. At the age of 18 months I was thrown into a pool; it was time to sink or swim and somehow I made it to the side. For there is was swimming, gymnastics, dance, basketball, soccer, field hockey and track. I joined the Rouse Center in 2018 and did my own thing in the fitness center. It wasn't until I started taking group classes by Jesse that I realized I wanted to do what she does, I want to make people feel the way she makes me feel. COVID happened and I jumped on the bandwagon. I got certified in all the AMPD Fitness Groups and started teaching after I got my Group Certification. Then a year later I got certified to be a Personal Trainer. Being still is not in my vocabulary, when I;m not at the Rouse Center working, you can find me driving my kids to and from the Rouse Center for swim practice. Needless to say I'm always here, and I absolutely love seeing the dedication that people have to want to take care of themselves.

Running has always been something that I've used as a sort of means to help teach myself discipline. This developed into incorporating strength training into my overall lifestyle and becoming a hybrid athlete. I've run down many different roads and have lifted many different weights to get to the point in my life and look forward to showing all walks of life how to incorporate cardiovascular training into their lives and tapping into that untapped [potential in your mind!

Jesse Waldvogel-harris

I have been a part of the JRSSC team, (minus a one year sabbatical in California), since we opened in 2016. My fitness profession began in 2004. My background is in personal training where I spent a good portion of my early fitness career working with many walks of life but mostly with pre/post bariatric surgery patients. I eventually shifted into group fitness. I continued to share my knowledge and love for fitness as a Master Trainer by certifying and mentoring various instructors across the world. I currently specialize in pre and postpartum moms, as well as functional training. My passion is fitness, and I look forward to sharing that with each of you.
